• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

They’ve got a point and a right to protest, but what they’re doing is in my opinion well out of order.

Yes. I agree with their viewpoint on the climate situation, but the ends do not justify the means. Vandalising works of art, blocking roads and inconveniencing thousands of people, or worse, impeding emergency services, etc. Not for me.

Stopping people going about their business is fair game, if they damage property then they’ve overstepped the mark.

Protesting about oil whilst wearing oil derived clothes.

I'd have more respect for them if they protested naked.

The whole point of protesting is to cause inconvenience. The issue with protests for some is that whether you think the protest is ok or not depends almost entirely on whether you’re sympathetic to what they’re protesting about. As with most things, hypocrisy abounds.

What like folk going to work or an ambulance taking somone to hospital or someone going for a medical appointment or someone actually earning some money for their family, that sort of thing. It maybe fair game to them but not for most right thinking folk, just saying like. I think that these JSO have lost any credibility and support from Joe public, could've, should've gone about it in a much more level headed fashion.👍

Yeah I definitely meant stopping ambulances and people attending medical appointments mate 👍

Please no - most of them are pensioners, not a nice sight.

They are absolute scum in the way they conduct themselves. Ask the people who can't get to work or a hospital appointment their opinion on JSO. The more of them locked up the better.

A valid and relevant topic to raise awareness about, but mostly the wrong way of going about it.
In terms of raising awareness I’d argue that the fact that we’re all here talking about them suggests they’re doing pretty well
