Extending the vote to 16-18 year olds

If a 16 year old can be in a position to fight and be killed by the actions of leaders in war zones then they should have every right to vote.

The demographic of the 20 to 30 age group is changing dramatically and will further in the next 10 to 15 years.

In what way is the demographic you refer to changing dramatically? Amd in what way do you expect it to shift further in the next 10-15 years?

And not forgetting either, that many of those opposing it are the types that shout at clouds and small boats. There are many ‘grown ups’ who wouldn’t be anywhere near a voting booth if you had to prove you know anything about politics or how these things work.

Fuck the old gits, give the kids a vote. The country’s fucked, that ain’t the kids fault but they get the blame for most things anyway.

The majority of 16-year-olds leave school and start to make their way in life; of course, they should get to vote.

Where i live it's very cultural and diverse. A lot of Asian traditional families are still having 4 or 5 children which is fine and it's reflecting the primary school demographic.

The line is fairly clearly 16 as nobody has suggested 14 or 12 except you. Anyway it’s happening whether any of us likes it or not.

I don't want to see politicians legally soliciting minors for votes. An adult is 18 years of age.

Maybe a 16 year old PM would do a better job then, seeing as all the old gits in charge are fvcking things up left right and centre.
