That’s an older one, can’t find the most recent one I saw but it wasn’t much different for the 16yr olds.
In what way is the demographic you refer to changing dramatically? Amd in what way do you expect it to shift further in the next 10-15 years? If a 16 year old can be in a position to fight and be killed by the actions of leaders in war zones then they should have every right to vote.
The demographic of the 20 to 30 age group is changing dramatically and will further in the next 10 to 15 years.
Fuck the old gits, give the kids a vote. The country’s fucked, that ain’t the kids fault but they get the blame for most things anyway. And not forgetting either, that many of those opposing it are the types that shout at clouds and small boats. There are many ‘grown ups’ who wouldn’t be anywhere near a voting booth if you had to prove you know anything about politics or how these things work.

Thats lovely and rosey, but wheres the line? 14? 12 year olds? Let them have a say. It’s their future the rest of us keep messing up. Let them have a say.
The line is fairly clearly 16 as nobody has suggested 14 or 12 except you. Anyway it’s happening whether any of us likes it or not.Thats lovely and rosey, but wheres the line? 14? 12 year olds? Let them have a say.
16 year olds can wait one more rotation and then crack on, we're not talking as if its more than 2.5 years between elections (recently), on average
Why don’t you want 16 year olds to vote. I get you don’t want them to, why?Thats lovely and rosey, but wheres the line? 14? 12 year olds? Let them have a say.
