Right but like most things at 16, thats with parental consent, this is common sense and necessary to protect children.I feel very strongly in favour of the age limit for voting to be lowered to 16 years of age.
If they are allowed to make a massively complex life or death decision, to enrol for the military at 16, which prepares them for deployment to the frontline at 18, where they can be killed, then why can’t they be trusted with the massively complex decision to vote which doesn’t include the chances of dying at such a young age?
They are deemed to know their own minds enough to do the former, so the latter should be a doddle by comparison.
