5M for Kone would have been much more a gamble imo.

But yeah desperately need cover for LB, Tymon is going to be overrun eventually the amount of ground he covers, Jamal Lewis is still out there on a free I believe and he will continue the Irish trend here.

Do think we should have gone all out for a new RW I like Ronald can’t fault his effort or commitment but he’s not very good, he doesn’t like to take on players, we need someone who can easily take people on.

Possibly. We are crying out for a winger who is capable of running onto a ball rather than one who likes the ball played to feet like Eom,Ronald and Inoussa do.
I think players like Vipotnik and Widell would benefit from this with opposition defenders immediately facing their own goal. It's standing out for me in all homes games so far this season that we lack wingers capable of getting defenders facing their own goal.

Seems like the response from the Celtic fans is to take it and don't ask questions.

I've had some responses and they are not good.....a few of them have said that they would pay us to take him.

Celtic paid 9 million maybe a tad to much but if we are getting him at half that and the fee spread over the contract it's not that a bad deal

I’m not sure he’s a 4.5m player and that’s coming from somebody who likes him. Although it is funny that Celtic fans are calling him the worst player to have played for them and some are expecting to recoup most of the fee. Which is it then?

Can't see Cooper getting any game time

Think all of the striker chat is also taking our eye off the ball with other positions. We still have one senior player able to play left back, and only one full-time right back. If we don't get cover for Tymon, a lot of this window will have been for nothing

We have enough cover at RB.. Parker, Casey and Galbraith can all play there

Definitely a big gamble at the figures mentioned.

Loan with an option to buy would be the logical choice but unlikely that Celtic would go for that.

make that 3 right backs - both Parker and Galbraith have looked better than Key in that position TBH
