• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

If spending on a multi million pound striker brings better movement, better finshing, more physicality and the ability to hold up the ball and bring others into play (or create space for them), then yes they and the team will fare better.

Agree.

I think that's almost more important than goals at the moment. We clearly need a fulcrum who can help us utilise the pace out wide and help us create chances

Yates, Lowe, Mykola, and Bianchinni were all multi million pound strikers. Vipotnik and Cullen are both internationals.
Seems like we’ve missed out on a lot of our targets. Hopefully if we can bring someone in they’ll buck the trend.

Make Vip the number 1. He can hold up the ball - good with his head and can strike the ball. Needs to get the striker’s instinct. Anticipation. Getting in the right place. On the front foot. Does that come with a run of games and a bit of backing from the manager? Who knows? Worth a try though I reckon.

Good with his head? Any ball in the air to him, generally does ferk all?

Surely we could get Bereton Diaz for that price?
If 7m is the amount then I’d expect more of a proven goal scorer than Idah.

Our recruitment team have done well this summer and haven’t leaned towards paying over the odds. Galbraith will be one of the best pieces of business we’ll do. This one is just crazy though if it’s true.
