8th in form table last five, 5th in last ten.Ive looked at the form table for the last 10 games. We are 5th, a win against Birmingham, which we deserved and we would be 2nd over 10 games.
For me this shows we have come a long way and to continue with this form for the rest of the season should see us easily avoid relegation and push to the top half.
Let’s hope we can continue this form.
Because until last night we were only 6 points off relegation. Why have we still got people talking about relegation? The differences in our performances under Sheehan and Matos are like night and day, and this is before he’s had the ability to swap one or two via a transfer window.
There's a lot of chat about this squad 'only' being good enough for somewhere around midtable, but I'm not sure I agree. I definitely don't think we're good enough to fly out of the league or anything, but when you look at our best eleven and compare it with almost any team in the league, I'm certainly not seeing a noticable difference.8th in form table last five, 5th in last ten.
Matos has taking the shackles off the players and is doing a job in line with the squad we have, if not over achieving a bit as we should be around 10th - 13th in my opinion considering the surgery the squad needed in the summer. Injuries are starting to take it's toll now however and with two games I don't expect us getting much so the knives will be out no doubt.

Looking at the top of the league - Ipswich have the best squad in the league and will very likely go back up. Coventry have an awful lot of goals and a good midfield (not a Grimes debate), but the defence features Jack Bidwell and some ho-hum centre-halves. Otherwise, there isn't a play-off chasing side who I think are better than us man for man.
Millwall, Hull, Stoke, Watford are all pretty ordinary sides propped up with a lot of solid Championship journeymen and the odd star man. I think you could make an argument that aside from Ronald and maybe Cabango (some would say Burgess too, but I like him), every player is individually one of the best in the league for their position.
Admittedly I'm more confident of saying this about some players (Galbraith, Vigs, Tymon, Vipotnik) than others (Eom, Stamenic, Widdell), but I would argue that case for a solid 9 or 10 of the lads being more than good enough for a promotion push
For the first 20 mins when he started against Man C, I thought we could have a good player here. He looked quick decisive, and was worrying their defence.I thought Inoussa looked a promising buy in the first 5/10 games of the season. He was having an impact from the bench and looked sharp and skillful.
Hes not really kicked on at all
He’s probably the only player I think has gone backwards under Matos

My comment wasn’t aimed at you specifically, more of a sweeping response to what I read on here, hear at the .com, chat about in work.Because u

Like you, I agree the difference is night and day, and we are much better.
The fact is though we were closer to relegation than top half.
My post is actually pointing out the positive fact that continuing like we are will see us in the top half
No worries, that was me starting to become defensive about my posts and donning my keyboard warrior shield and swordMy comment wasn’t aimed at you specifically, more of a sweeping response to what I read on here, hear at the .com, chat about in work.
For home form over the last 5 games must be close to top. 13 out of 15 and 16 out of 18 last 6. He’s made attending so much more appealing.8th in form table last five, 5th in last ten.
