Not really, just tried to ask you to refrain from derailing the transfer thread for a second time.

Over to you for the last word on the subject.

It’s not derailing, we are discussing if there is a need to bring in a RB or whether Galbraith is there quite happily under Matos.

I’m yet to see a RB linked to us. Post one if you see one so we can all discuss it.

What a ridiculous way to behave on a forum. If you can’t discuss a topic then don’t post.
I'm up for discussing a topic that is relevant to the thread. This is the second time despite numerous people repeatably asking you to keep things on topic.

If you had any respect for the other users of the forum you might want to listen to what numerous other users are asking you to do.

I honestly have very little interest in what you have to say in response to this reply. In all my time using this forum I have never felt the need to put anyone on ignore up until now

But it is on topic, it’s discussing the RB position and the perceived need in Jan. it’s not a thread to be things you want to talk about.

I think leading up to the window the intention was to bring in a permanent RB signing. Lissah's performances though have meant it makes more sense to bring Ward in short term, then we can give Lissah a full pre season where he can hopefully prove he warrants the starting spot

It doesn’t say the plan is to only play him in midfield though. He’s a multi positioned player that can be used in a load of different ways as every club he’s played for has done.

Nor did they say we'd signed a right back.

You asked for the evidence and there it is....

I asked for evidence that the club said we have signed Ethan to only play in midfield, it doesn’t say that and neither Sheehan, Matos or any of his other managers have done that.

The fact he’s played RB more than any other position both for us and Orient tells us he’s very clearly duel positioned, and naturally so.

The club knew this when we signed him, obviously.

Exactly this.

We lose bite if he plays instead of Franco, we lose physicality if he plays instead of Stamenic and we lose energy if he plays instead of Melker.

Having him at RB allows us to keep those elements and still have him affect the game centrally when he drifts inside.

It’s a big part of why we are doing well under Matos.
It is all about team balance and will work if cover is there when he wanders.
He has his failings as a RB but as a current midfield unit it’s where best placed………. For now

Paul Reaney right back Terry Cooper left back
Played Centre back or in midfield .
Think they called him a utility player .
We've had a few "utility players" over the 50 years that I've been watching the Swans.
The vast majority of them were crap in several positions.

Here you again, being deliberately obtuse because you've been caught out.

No the club in their statement didn't say we've signed a midfielder and thats the only position that he'll ever be played in.

Well done.

Caught out where? I asked for evidence the club only intended to play him in midfield, you didn’t provide any. It’s very clear to anyone who cares to look that he is playing there because that’s where we want him to play, we are not linked to any RB’s and come seasons end will have played there more than anywhere else in his career. The narrative he’s a midfielder that is playing there out of position is clearly wrong, you don’t have 70 appearances out of position across multiple clubs.

Yea ok mate. The club literally told us they'd bought a midfielder.

Theres no point going on and on because I know how you like to be disingenuous with these things so ill leave it there.
