With Walta coming in, where does that leave Widell?
I really rate Melker but after half a season, I have no idea what his best position is supposed to be.

Considering Bobby Wales was a regular on our bench in recent weeks does that mean we will be looking to sign a striker on loan now that Wales is off to Huddersfield, or is Vitor relying on Cullen as a back up or playing Widell now and then.

Vital says he can't see a ST coming in.

Walta has been on holiday since November so don't think he'll come in and be starting straight away. As for long the term I guess Widell and him will be fighting it out for the 8 position.

If our midfield and defenders can now chip in with goals then I think a striker isn't needed in this window

It's a big IF with regards to midfielders and defenders chipping in with goals. The return has been poor and we need one or 2 to be contributing more to the goal tally.
If one was chipping in with around 6/7 at this stage then you could see why it isn't needed. That said, I believe we can't totally rule out Cullen being ruled out given he has 12, 7 and 9 in the previous 3 seasons. He had his limitations but is capable of chipping in with goals.

Add another six pages for the rumour that Galbraith was signed to play right back.
It wasn't rumour it was fact!
Know your audience Smurph.

Being fair though Smurph, you always seem to be in the mix of these things when they are dragging on page after page 🤣

Lesson to learn. Don't trust YouTube Highlights 😂😂😂
He was Championship player of the season the year Burnley got promoted. No smoke and mirrors there he was very much the real deal. If he’d have hit the same form here Ronald would definitely not have started as RW for the rest of the season. Injuries might have dented his confidence but he definitely isnt the player of two or three seasons ago.
