Interesting Martyn. Stayed in Stroud with FGR followers. Had no idea it was the same player while listening on the Radio. Hope he does well, FGR apparently are going places so lets see how he goes.

Merthyr have signed ex Swan
Jordan Garrick
Should be a good signing scored 2 goals for the Swans .
I can't remember who the team were he read a flick from one of our strikers went round the keeper to score the winner .

Merthyr have also signed Kiban Rai on loan from Aldershot .

One team you wouldn't want to watch is Hereford .
Another home game postponed tonight .
They have 7 ( seven ) games in hand on Merthyr .

That often works against you too, especially so many, probably crammed close together at some point.

Just looked at the table too, Hereford are last but on, 22 points from 23 games. They have 5 games in hand on the team in safety from relegation, who have 29 points. Look stuffed.

The wheels have fallen off after selling Ricardo Rees.

4 straight defeats.

At the same time Fylde have put 9 points more on the board and Shields 10

So money in the bank is what happiness is this season!!

My mate is a director and I was at his house last week. They are in dire straights with a continually waterlogged pitch. They had some new floodlights put in in the summer, and the heavy machinery used needed steel plates to stand on, which compacted the corners of the pitch and broke some of the drainage. Remedial work is needed, but it's rained just about every day this year!
They are considering playing home games at Gloucester City for the rest of the season, which will help with the fixture backlog but they will lose a large proportion of their matchday revenue. Team confidence is also low and they have lost a couple of their best players recently. They could be heading for the trap door 😱

They should take the company to court because if the temporary works design (for the metal plates they put down) had been correct, it would not have made the drainage collapse.
