My mate is a director and I was at his house last week. They are in dire straights with a continually waterlogged pitch. They had some new floodlights put in in the summer, and the heavy machinery used needed steel plates to stand on, which compacted the corners of the pitch and broke some of the drainage. Remedial work is needed, but it's rained just about every day this year!
They are considering playing home games at Gloucester City for the rest of the season, which will help with the fixture backlog but they will lose a large proportion of their matchday revenue. Team confidence is also low and they have lost a couple of their best players recently. They could be heading for the trap door
