MOTM too. Which is no surprise as he ran our midfield again. Grimes is the litmus test for whether people really watch a game. Some don’t realise how much work he puts in.

He looked lively and a player when he came on in the friendly against S’ton. Nothing’s changed my mind yet. Looks like he’ll be just fine and he’s definitely ahead of Lowe for me (Lowe’s looked really poor so far this season).

Grimes was much better tonight - I think basically because not everything had to go through him. Paterson and Fulton took some of the burden off him - although both tired in the second half. Grimes gave the ball away, and got caught in possession, quite a few times though. Let's not get carried away.

We attempted a few through balls for Piroe tonight, especially Grimes. Think our style of play was perfect for away games tonight. Defence terrific tonight.
