• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Patterson is not first 11 quality and the back line has very little footballing ability.

Three ferkin nil. :(

At least sham will be happy.

Not until 4-0 and 80% possesion...

Perhaps we need a good hammering for people to realise how bad we really are. Millwall and Hull had a point each because they lacked ambition and let us pass it about in non threatening areas of the pitch. Any side that has a real go at us will score a bucketful against us like Stoke ,Preston and now Luton.

Its not often a keeper is in danger of being hooked at half time but Hamer has truly been that bad today. Obafemi needs support and Paterson is absolutely bot providing him that.

Hamer almost caught AGAIN by taking a touch on a pass back before clearing it

Hands up all those looking forward to the Scum game.

I know that we've said we'd give Russell time and some have even said they'd accept relegation to have a reset on style...but I wonder how much time there is until the daggers are properly out (some are out already). Realistically, how long will people accept this for? 3 nil down to Luton within 20 mins, that's quite something.

If we're in the relegation zone at Christmas it really wouldn't surprise me if he's gone.

We are just accepting continued regression. The aim is just to stay in the division this year clearly but the effort needed just to do that is clearly a bit lost on our soppy bunch of tossers playing.

A lot of this is Martin's team too, albeit early days

Patterson's the least impressive of the summer signings for me. He's OK, but is never going to be much of a threat or impose himself on games. Routs would have been no worse for another year. A good enough squad player but not much else.

Although, as I've mentioned before this formation is not working for those 2 who play behind the striker. Everyone's looked poor in that role except for Ntcham in one half of his first game. Other than that the people in those 2 positions look a bit lost.
