Ive.gone the opposite. Anger at how things weren't being learned from, to whatever as I've accepted he will not change.

Yeah, I think I arrived at the same place you are last week. Not angry, just resigned. Basically, this is how it is until he's gone. The game panned out pretty much how I expected except that we scored a goal.

I was like that last week, but to come out and show zero heart or desire or aggressive play again, plus his stupid mug on the telly again, has pushed me out of my Zen bubble. God knows what those who were there are thinking.

I’ve never seen our fans so united, both on here and Swansea Independent. I’ve been a supporter of Martin. I wanted to give him till August, but it has to be time now. My dad said the Luton game was the worst he’d seen in 80 odd years.

We have to find the funds to get rid of him. Plenty of time in the season to correct where we are

If the owners have anything resembling competence now they would sack RM tonight and make an approach for Toshack or Bielsa immediately while they have a chance to try to get in even just one player that he wants.

Bielsa?

His stock is still plenty high enough to demand decent wages.

If they sack Martin they'll offer it to someone like Kris O'Leary.

I've heard many comments from our managers about games, and accepted that they put on a bit of spin compared to what we see.

Martin has taken it to a much higher level.

It can be summed up.

Today was absolutely shocking. How the hell did we get out of there only 2-1!?

The players like they have completely lost faith in ‘the process.’

Going to be a long season I’m afraid ladies and gentlemen. Even if we add a couple players before the end of the window, what difference will they make playing the way we do? I can’t see us sacking him even if we lost the next 4 games. We’re stuck with him so may as well get used to it.

Anyone who travelled to Middlesbrough and bought a ticket to watch that should be reimbursed by the club. They have my utmost respect and sympathy.

It’s quite genuinely a joke.

It’s sad isn’t it that we can all watch something, know it to be dreadful, and yet he shows us such contempt.

Anyway. If the owners can’t be bothered to sort it (and it’s worth selling Piroe to get rid of this bloke) then so be it. They will soon have to start extending those offers as there will be no one there.

it is time Winter showed some balls forget the owners I think many of our problems stem from the excuse of a CEO we have he should have Martin in and spell things out to him....I fear like the fraud of a manager we have a fraud of a CEO

Why did he pick him as a wingback anyway? Did they draw straws or was it just his turn?

We weren’t playing him as a wingback though. We went to wingbacks when he went off. We were playing 4 at the back before that with, snigger, Wood as right back.

He was wide right of three. I think anyway. It was such a shambles I’m not certain anyone really knew what the formation was.

Actually, we started with a back four with Naughton at right back, Wood and Cabungle in the centre, and Manning left. When he took Congreve off, we reverted to the usual three at the back with Naughton in the centre and Wood to his right. Whatever position Congreve was playing in, he was very wide.

We learned something today. Congreve is OK coming on with 15mins to go, but playing from the start is a whole 'nother thing. He'd already tried beating his marker a few times and failed, given a goal away with a shocking cross field pass, and didn't do enough to try and stop the build up to the second goal. (Of course, Cabungle was totally useless for the second goal as well.). I personally think RM was right to substitute Congreve at that point.
