• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Decent first half, showed the best and worst of us.

Needs more tempo and energy, Championship allows 5 changes during 3 windows this season if I remember correctly.

Fulton has been anonymous, Paterson hasn't offered enough for me.
If I was RM I would bring on Ntcham and Congreve at half time for them both.

Entertaining first half. We look sharp, seem to be more prepared to get rid of it when under pressure at the back and moving. It quite quickly into the channels.

Nor sure what Fulton is adding. Would like to see Congreve.

Not a bad start though. Not much we could do about their goal although they did get on top for the ten minutes or so afterwards winning the 50:50s.

Could do with a right wing back though couldn’t we.

Not sure how much we have learned defensively from last season. Not a lot it seems. I do hope we have a plan on how to deal with teams who play with decent wingers as that it appears that will be our achilles heel.

Goal aside, Darling looks quality and will make us decent profit when we inevitably sell him on.

I hope we learn to continue shooting from anywhere rather than tap around trying to score the perfect goal cos when we do that we are a handful. Too slow and we become predictable.

No reason we can't go on and win here tho

Still need to up the tempo but lovely goal from Darling. They are very physical and closing us down. Looking for perfect goal instead of gambling. Game is there to be won but need to be more precise and clinical with our passing. Sun out now😀 Good support but quiet and nervous between the goals

Sorinola hasn't been as bad as people have made him out to be in preseason.
Could he offer more? Yes
Has he been a liability? No

What I wouldn't give for Rangel in his prime in this side.

He hasn't been as good as people make out either, done nothing that first half. Needs to improve quickly.

Hey he almost lobbed the keeper from 50 yards out ;)

Fun fact, both sides have a centre half called Wood and both of them are fookin massive.

Good example of where we should have upped the tempo was when their lad fell over when they had about 6 players breaking in our half, we won the ball back and instead of looking to knock a ball up to Oba, we played about 20 passes in an area about 10 yards square and waited for all their players to get back into their shape. What happened to counter attacking?

Feels like we are trying to make Ogbene look better so Rotherham can charge us more for him!
