• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

When I become the first king of Wales I’ll be banning all ginger c*nts.

If Sirjohn was a mod over here, I'd have you banned for that :(

He’d have made a polite plea for everyone to be nice to each other first. Some hope.

Sirjohn has enough on his plate banning the unwashed 24/7 by the looks of it ...

SCFC2 has had to take on extra staff to process the influx of the "indie" warriors by all accounts

I was at the Wales V England international in Cardiff back in 2011, GSTQ was roundly booed and drown out. I wouldn’t boo GSTQ /GSTK, but I wouldn’t sing it either.

Have read that its gonna be a minutes applause but will still play GSTK, and that part will be a disaster for the powers that be.

Reality in very simple words.

It could be argued though that the football authorities should show respect to us by not imposing playing the Dirge when they know it will cause friction, A minutes silence is quite sufficient to show respect to the dead Queen. Our national anthem is not GSTK. Personally, I would just stay seated, but everybody knows that the outcome is likely to be more malign. It's insane.

So what's that got to do with the GSTK being played then? Again deliberate conflation of 2 separate events due to take place.

1 - minutes silence for the dead queen - not my bag personally but I've not seen any indication anywhere that this wouldn't be observed.

2 - playing / singing GSTK to pledge allegiance to the new King- totally different proposition which has nothing to do the deceased queen.
