Go back, read everything I said. Where have I gone on about abuse? Let’s be honest, you were just trying to get a rise out of me init.

Actually I wasn't itch, you called the guy a pillock, and I just asked your reasons for doing so. Christ, you pull me up on everything I say, yet it seems a sin to ask you why said something?

It's no big deal, but at least say why the guy is a pillock, it's not exactly a trick question..

And don't flatter yourself sunshine, trying to get a rise? Give over, you called the guy a pillock, and when asked why, you made a meal of if.

I'm not a lawyer, but I'd wager this is a watertight situation, the seller decides the payment method and the buyer has the choice to purchase or go elsewhere.
If Swansea City took this individual on for theft I'd think they would have a very good case.
Hopefully It won't come to this, but judging by the condemnation of his actions by SCFC It could go down that route.

What has he stolen though? he's paid in the currency of the realm, its legal tender and "should" be acceptable, he like many believe it or not may not have a debit/credit card, so paid by a legal tender method, the paying customer/consumer is always right.
The matter would never get to court and would be laughed out of court should anyone to be silly enough to bring any case to court.

That's me speaking as someone who rarely ever carries cash these day's, but I defend anyone's right to carry and use cash, its a ridiculous state of affairs and an insult to the realm of this country to not accept Cash. Especially a fuking football club.

Anyone know if and how many clubs operate in this way?

„Virtue signalling“ - when did that phrase hit the English language? Sounds very sophisticated. I think I left the UK when „at the end of the day“ was popular.

At a guess, I would say the term virtue signalling became predominant in about the summer of 2020? For me, that's when I saw it widely used. No doubt, it was before that,,

If you were self employed and I paid you for a job in 1p pieces, would this be acceptable to you?

50 years on, the maximum you can pay with 1p and 2p coins is still 20p.
5p & 10p is a fiver, 20p & 50p is £10

Max, its the policy of Swansea City not to accept cash, it's thier right to do so, if you can't adhere to thier policy they won't serve you, rightly or otherwise.
If you ,me or anyone else doesn't like it then tough shìt us, all this is going to end up with security on the door, then you'll get people whinging thier being treated like criminals.

A quick google search shows loads of Uk stadiums are now cash only, including Liverpool, Etihad, Wembley etc etc.

Cash is no longer king, it’s not even a prince these days.
