The bit you need to remember is I suspect (don't know but strongly suspect) he had already been refused service beforehand and that is more than likely where any abuse happened. I don't believe this guy just randomly decided he was going to film himself in the club shop paying for a mug with cash. That is what I suspect drove the club statement but could be wrong

The incident involved a member of the public verbally abusing a staff member and leaving the premises without paying via the correct procedure.


For me, that looks like one continuous action? More or less what we saw on the video. I would think if he just been abusive in a shop, you would not go back in?

I suppose speculation is pointless, but you can only comment on what you can see. But I would love to know, if that was all that happened, then it shouldn't be called abuse.

That won't happen because he isn't a Swans fan.

His story is that he travelled down from Carmarthen to buy a gift for his kids teacher, who you'd have to guess is a Swans fan.

After a little bit of investigating, I found the chaps profile on facebook, he denies he abused anyone in the club shop, this is what he says.

Its great that you are having a rethink but they are liars! I did not abuse any staff the 1st time I went into the shop, you can clearly hear me saying sorry to them when I picked up another mug from the stand when the other was still behind the till. I think it's disgusting they are portraying me to be abusing when I was not. And if this was the case then why let me back into the shop and serve me?? Swansea City Football Club stop lying to make yourselves look better. You obviously have cameras, show me the abuse that never happened from the cameras. Nor have I been contacted by the police for the matter as it didn't happen.

My impression from reading that, is that he is telling the truth? If he was abusive to the shop staff, surely it would be pretty stupid to goad someone?

New here but have read posts on this site a long time
But reading some the comments regarding g this issue I felt I had to say somthing
People actually slating the guy and and. And name calling
I have noticed for a few years on here its become extremely gang culture and woke.
What has happened to the real fans of the club I once loved?you know the 4k who turned up at the vetch all weather to watch awful football but with a dream to better times.
Can I start,for all you who criticise him that headline days abusive?
Nothing abusive go e on there
Are people now that pathetic they call this abusive and threatening??
Secondly what people don't realise is that slowly we are being forced to accept staite and global policy to control us
May under 16 don't have bank account there for no cards
These people now can't buy drinks or food in stadium or go club shop to buy a kit
Old people don't like cards as they are use to cash
Myself won't use a patrol pump were it says card only as in tesco it takes 120 out before u buy what u need.
The administration cost to buy a ticket (think its 3.50) on top of ticket prices is a rip off
I since yanks took over refuse to go there as its a scam and its not the club I loved from the age of 8 to the day we went I to the prem
All them years (40)of them I hoped to see my club in the top flight again as the old first division days I did not appreciate it
But the lose of our home(the vetch) that had reached its end was the start of the cha ge in the club but the prem was the final nail.
And reading some the posts on here just confirms just how low our club has gone
Or is it just the fans on here?

Why? Is it that so many of u have your head deep in sand pits that u can't have or listen to different opinions and come to your own conclusion

Fully agree, there would be massive implications if we went fully cashless, I look at some peoples opinions on it and think Wow, these are turkeys voting for Christmas.

I feel this card only policy at the Liberty, is unfair, and also on the verge of discriminatory.
