Does Anyone Really See An Improvement?

Williams is done. The only thing saving him at this point is the cheapness of the ownership.

If ownership had the foresight to see that relegation will cost us far more than whatever we’re paying penishead, we would have seen the back of that head long ago. At this point,
A hungry manager like Mat Sadler will do the deed and keep us up.

Fair, he should pull the trigger on Tuesday then, I wouldn't even give this clown the Bristol City game, pay him off and start the process...
It’s all a bit of a mess. Any incoming players will surely want to reassurances about managerial stability. Difficult one to answer.

All the more reason to get rid asap, how can you reassure anyone by letting this incompetent take charge of any more games.

Better off going with what we have than leaving this clown do any more damage.

The silence from the ownership group has been a telling story in this January window - complete silence reminds me so much of...err.... the old ownership. All the promises seem unfulfilled.

Coleman's "We promise better communication" falls on deaf years and the last forum - as heated as it was - was one where people were allowed a question, had to listen to his waffle as an answer and were offered no follow up question. Forums controlled by the club will always be the same.

I rarely walk past the West stand now on matchdays but I did yesterday and watched the Trust pod which was more like a social gathering. All people who have hidden away since the legal deal was announced just a few short years ago. People can criticise the old Trust board as much as they want but the one thing we never did was hid away, we faced fans in the toughest of times and always ran a forum that was a two way discussion where no questions were off the table. Credit to the Trust for that at the time and also credit to those who represented the club in them.

This club has gone so far away from being a community club it is not real and that is why there were thousands of empty seats at kick off yesterday and more thousands during the last ten minutes. Season ticket sales don't get confirmed with numbers for many reasons and the biggest will be that the club know they are declining year on year and will continue to do so under this watch.

Over the next 48 hours we will see a few people arrive at the club, each of them will be greeted with a level of "told you they were ambitious owners" statements but by April we will realise that they are just as "meh" as the signings of recent windows.

this isn't our club any more, it's theirs. If only we had a group of supporters ready to stand up for what is right.

If you’re an incoming player would you join a club with no manager or one about to sack a manager? Similarly would you be annoyed if given reassurances that the manager would remain in place, only for him to be sacked within a week?

I’ve got no idea what the answer is tbh.

You’re not alone, neither will Coleman.

Ok, just leave him carry on regardless, the trigger should have been pulled weeks ago but wasn't. Fucking clueless from top to bottom.

We can’t as we’re sliding. FWIW and assuming that we bring one or two in by close of play tomorrow, I think he will be given the Bristol game, but if that goes pear shaped then the axe will fall.

I do think Watson is getting away lightly mind.
Yates, Big Myk, Big Vip and Florian up front next year.

The problem with at least three of those is that they need the right kind of service to have any chance to thrive. The kind of service that we have no ability to provide.

They are far from the answer but it shows the bat shit crazy nature of our recruitment strategy

Not sure on what planet we look like getting any result, let alone next week with him still there.
Gotta rip the plaster off now, we are teetering on the edge of a football disaster if we drop and rest assured he'll take us there.
Have to roll the dice. Cannot get any worse.

I cling on to the hopes raised by the first half of Sheff Utd and QPR.

It’s not looking good tbh. Looking at the form guide, Swansea are the worst performing team over the last 4 games, second worse over the last 6 and 22 or 21st over 8 and 10 games.
Luckily, Luton and Derby are also on a terrible run.

An Allardyce type manager (not that I’m advocating he take over) will tighten the defence up, but in terms of goal threat and scoring it’s pretty bleak.
It's a strange one for me, we were sitting 9th in the table around Christmas, and beat Luton and Qpr, in the middle of that we had the West Brom debacle with the manager and results and performances have fallen off the edge of a cliff. We can't buy a win anywhere, performances are shocking ,and the manager , apart from being clueless, is throwing players under the bus. Yesterday game was really troubling, we looked like a team with no clue whatsoever, and a club that had almost accepted it's fate of relegation. We desperately need a lift from somewhere, be it new players or a new manager or both.
