Does Anyone Really See An Improvement?

I cling on to the hopes raised by the first half of Sheff Utd and QPR.
That first half against QPR seems like a black swan event now. We were fantastic, players buzzing around, linking up and driving forward.

It's a strange one for me, we were sitting 9th in the table around Christmas, and beat Luton and Qpr, in the middle of that we had the West Brom debacle with the manager and results and performances have fallen off the edge of a cliff. We can't buy a win anywhere, performances are shocking ,and the manager , apart from being clueless, is throwing players under the bus. Yesterday game was really troubling, we looked like a team with no clue whatsoever, and a club that had almost accepted it's fate of relegation. We desperately need a lift from somewhere, be it new players or a new manager or both.
I lost the stream yesterday very early, thank God, but my mate texted that it was worse than the worst of the worst of Duff.

Zero cheer factor yesterday. Atmosphere, pitch, crowd size, temperature, player effort, tactical shape, result… all completely miserable.

My wife took the boy yesterday. Her summary of the game has made me wonder if she posts on this site.

I really don’t think that he’s a great manager. My concern is Coleman. Sooner we appoint a Director of Football who knows what their doing the better.
He’s not even a good manager. He’s not at the Russel Martin level of fraudulent charlatan but he’s not far off.

Klopp would struggle to get a tune out of this lot. That said, Williams is a dead man walking at this point. We are so screwed.
How people think a new manager will just automatically improve things coupled with the fact that a new manager search will be down to Coleman........this is something that does suprise me when I read some people's posts that he needs to go.

I can't disagree he appears a dead man walking but. Unfortunately that's just one wall climbed with another 2 or 3 once we have got over that 1st wall.

Perhaps because it helps other teams, e.g. Oxford and their previous pretty bleak future was replaced by mid-table.

It's not right to always chop managers but it's why replacing Bradley with Clement got us safe. We'd have never been safe without changing and it's the same now

I think that getting rid of this useless twat and being concerned about who the next useless twat who will be appointed by the useless twat in charge is are different conversations. Sacking the current useless twat may at least give us a bump to get the points we need to stay up. Or it may not.

I get what your saying but I don't think it's a given we are going down especially when we have a 7 points buffer on the last team in the drop zone.

I just think the confidence is at rock bottom presently.

Cos with just a half decent replacement there'll be a bounce, and that bounce will be the difference between staying up or not.
Players look clueless, but as been mentioned, we are capable. But Luke pimping himself has done for us. The guy is basically a cvnt.

I agree but the manager shows no sign of being able to resolve this and looks as beaten as any player around.

His West Brom stuff set him up for the fall and goodness me have we fallen. Setting us up with a five and not changing it at half time yesterday when two down says that he knows it's done here and he's waiting for his nice little settlement.

Like he had at Swindon when he relegated them
