Just drove to and back from the gym along 20mph roads.

I'm pleased to report that i didn't encounter any carnage in either direction. Timewise, didn't notice any difference in travel time.

Did you really do 20? This is going to be a bloody nightmare, I'm not going out today, but I'm dreading tomorrow.

That's not the approach to take. Get yourself down to Aberavon front, table for two, king prawn dopiaza, photo on here and job done. But, leave now or you'll miss last orders.

In all honesty, I would not like to travel there now, anywhere unfamiliar I will be avoiding until I get to grips with this ridiculous limit. Going to bad enough in places I frequent regularly, so used to doing over 30, then slowing down by a speed camera to go under 30, where now it will be under 20.

That can’t be right. I’m told the world will stop spinning on its axis and people will leave Wales in their droves.

Let's see what impact this has on tourism in Wales next year. If I lived In England, personally I would choose another location than come to Wales, and risk potential points and fine.

You know if you hit a kid going over 30, there is a very high probability that you are going to kill them, right? And for what? Getting to your destination a couple of minutes sooner? Is it worth that? Having a dead child on your conscious just so you can be somewhere slightly quicker?

Yes of course I did, why wouldn't I abide by it? Does it make me any less of a man by doing so?

I can confirm that my journey from Penllergaer to Gorseinon and back passed without incident and with no real noticeable change in people’s driving habits. No receipts were involved.

Just curious that's all.

I'm reading comments on x and facebook, that things have changed, from what I can see a massive increase in tailgating, and also dangerous overtakes.

Maybe, but it's kind of strange on here, the reports are it's all hunky dory, but a quick glimpse at the comments on WOL, and it's certainly not that, I have copied some comments here.

’ve just been stuck in a 100+ procession of cars travelling from one side of Swansea to Fairwood (nothing ti do with the 10k)
This will be reversed within months.

Lets hope all the tourists boycott Wales as a holiday destination...
Its the only way to rid ourselves of Labour and the Plaid Cymru poodles.....

he Labour & Plaid muppets are doing their upmost to push vehicles off the roads, their vision is a cycling utopia. IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK!

How can something that everyone is against be enforced. We need to take to the streets in defiance against this Dictatorship of a Government... "The Welsh spring" round up these politicians and take them to trial.

From what I've seen this morning, some people are obeying the new speed limit and some are not, this is the most dangerous outcome that will ultimately lead to frustration and an increase in accidents. The level of incompetence beggars belief, how can such a vote winning initiative of introducing 20mph into purely residential streets turn into such a fiasco, and at a cost of £millions. Who is going to be held accountable for this shambles.

Edit: Just found this comment further down,

I've notice people spray painting the signs over in many locations in swansea already. Absolutely hilarious that a democratic government make a constitution change without the support of the majority or the central government.. same goes for khan in London.. holding the country to randsom .. fascist dictatorship is what it is

Go on the Swansea Blade runners.

I'm a bit confused. It seems that the same people who advocate violence against the Just Stop Oil people when they walk slowly in front of traffic in their protests are now suggesting doing the same thing in protest against the new speed limits?
