Oh crikey, Lee waters said the same thing, seatbelts and smoking in pubs IIRC. Don't get me wrong, I'm not kind of boy racer, who believes putting my foot down everywhere, but some roads they have implemented this 20 on, is absolutely bonkers, take broadway for example, hardly a pedestrian in sight, pavements set way back from the road, yet that's 20?
It's been 20 in many places I go for a few years, now one 20 zone is right by a school, I hit 45 past there the other day, why? because the school was shut and there was nobody around, but when school is out, and all the kids are standing there with the parents, looking to run across the road, rather than using the zebra some 20 yards away, I will most prob be doing under 10mph.
