What's the feeling with it, have we pushed on with his appointment or do you feel we have or are going backwards?

I personally am not seeing much if any light of a plan, a system or a stamp of trying to play that will see rewards down the line.

He doesn't do himself any favours, that's for certain.

We're simply not a very good squad. A team of average footballers (maybe one or two exceptions who are slightly above average) and a recruitment plan that leaves much to be desired

I have said it before but remind me how much we paid for Jerry Yates

And there was also a reason why Fulton wasnt playing much in the first 12 months or so under Martin.

We are quickly turning into a very average championship side. The flaky defensive errors continue. If someone could tell me where the fck is kukorevich ? . ( if that's how he's spelt). If we have any designs on improving then we need strengthening come January without doubt. Is Duff the answer? For getting the best outa what we currently have...its a no from me.

Duff’s style is more get it forward quicker, and at the moment we have one player who is quick.

The Ginnelly injury has really hurt us and it speaks volumes that we’re looking to sign a free agent; when was the last time we did that? Tiendalli?

We can only aspire to be average at the moment.

And we've gone back to f*cking about with it in defence, especially that pathetic ball to Grimes when he is belting back towards our keeper with a player or two up his hoop.

Fair point.
Was trying my utmost to put a positive spin on a season that's already petering out.

Yeah I can’t be bothered with that, I’m too cold after this afternoon  watching the swans is a grim, joyless experience for the most part and has been for a few years now.

We are an average squad, we have been an average squad for a few seasons in reality.
I just feel we need to be different but as it stands we are just another team and it's interesting to read that word pro active mentioned in posts today.

Injuries don't help, it's worrying how many muscle/tissue injuries we have picked up this season........on top of the direction we are going, training needs to be looked at in regards these injuries that are now becoming questionable.

Top post Phil, and you are absolutely right about Yates and particularly Fulton. Don't get what Fulton offers the team, he's not an attacking creative midfielder, he's not a defensive midfielder or if he is he's doing a rubbish job at it. Those 5 yard balls between him and Grimes are absolutely pointless and strangling getting the ball forward quicker. Would love to know how many backward or sideways passes he made today.

Literally all we have left to look forward to this season is the 3rd round cup draw and the derby.

Duff’s as good as we need with this group of players. No change will improve our fortunes unless we can find someone that never plays Grimes and Fulton together. I’d like to see Congreve get an outing or two now…although god knows where (Jasp?)

I must be on my own quite enjoying that game despite the frustrations, but I’m no longer sitting in the bitter cold watching it.

Seriously? You don’t think you’ll enjoy any of the other 28 games? Come on Saint, that’s ridiculous. Three teams are going up, Leeds, Leicester and, unless he seriously fucks it up, Southampton. Those 3 squads are head and shoulders above the rest. Ipswich or WBA could be a bolter, but I think they’ll both fade away. Whoever it is will be straight back down as they are still cack in PL terms.
