• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

In terms of raising awareness I’d argue that the fact that we’re all here talking about them suggests they’re doing pretty well
Yeah but most of it negative, which you could argue is not doing that well at all in raising awareness.......in a positive light.

You could argue that, I wouldn’t necessarily agree but it’s a valid point. Personally I think stopping ambulances and the like is reprehensible but causing general inconvenience and annoyance has been a valid form of protest for years, whether you or I agree with their cause or not.

Only awareness they are raising is negativity towards themselves.

In all the time they've been gluing themselves to the roads they haven't made a blind bit of difference.

Again, protesting isn’t always about “making a difference”.

Fair comment, no argument from me we are a free country, its everyones right to voice an opinion, I just saying the way they are going about it is wrong, just my opinion, I get hat they want folk to sit up and take notice, but they are losing support, if they were a tv programme most would switch off.

It's the opinion of 99% of people in this country.

I am yet to read anyone state how JSO have convinced them to move to EV or put solar panels on the roof of their house. The vast majority of comments hold them in contempt.

As I say, very valid topic, but I'm sure they would see different results if they took an alternative approach.
