Cat amongst the pigeons time: (been holding this Fact back, for obvious reasons. A few notables here and elsewhere can corroborate) :-

Both Oba and Pato were penned in the starting 11 for the Watford game. Fact.

Martin then ditched them last minute in a way OTT punishment for minor misdemeanour. Pato went AWOL, understandably.  The players responded with a massive showing of support for their teammates against a poor Watford.

Martin's back is firmly against the wall right now. He's been throwing his toys out - at our players, officials, the Reading GK thing was so too tw*tish.......

Let's hope player power prevails and we see Pato and Oba back where they belong.

Yeah looking for new clubs once again, how can you blame Martin for players actions? Obafemi literally put on his social media’s money comes first, his previous manager at Southampton PUBLICY criticised his commitment often which is why they sold him, come off it now, you said the players trained once before West Brom away when they actually trained 3 times, you make a lot of shit up to have an agenda against Martin.

I make nothing up. I only post facts, facts which many posters have enjoyed the fruits of for quite some time. Esp over b'there,
And I have no interest in squabbling. Grow up.

And maybe instead of always doubting all the facts, proffer something of value, something of note in the defence of Martinball - it's the classic shouty aggressive defensive play which ALL Martinistas lash out with. And say absoultely nothing other than 'trust the facking process'.

So we beat Watford 4-0 without Paterson and Obafemi and that was meant to be a show of support for their absent teammates?

No, Chief. Not just a show of support for their absent teammates but a show of intent and purpose in an altogether way of leveraging the individual and collective talents which have been shackled by silly, egotistical yesteryear Martinball.

There's a potentially exciting way forward with the players playing to their strengths, and Martin refocusing his laser focus on our winning formula. And ditching his overinflated ego.

This way forward is what all of us fans truly want. Martin offers lots, the players offer more. Together there's a winning formula, which some of the senior players recognise and desire. Including Pato and Oba - both have been instrumental in changing our ways. Such a shame they were dumped again by Martin at the 11th hour (for minor, silly joint transgression).

We could be formidable.....

So the 4-0 win wasn't to stick it to Martin for dropping their beloved teammates, it was to stick it to the manager?

They performed well enough to beat a top 4 team 4-0 to spite the manager?

Mate, you didn't read my post ? To paraphrase, just for you, cos you're worth it: they went way above and beyond the Martinball turgid offering, they bust a gut in an altogether more winning set up, a set up which plays to their strengths, to get a proper result and show how a winning formula can work. Martin was part of that winning formula, albeit reluctantly but had no other option given the player power of intent for change to the winning formula.

Let's hope Martin is still in that page.

Sorry, was just trying to cut through the inane waffle. So the 4-0 victory had no bearing whatsoever on the chuckle brothers absence then. Thanks for confirming.

Kinell Chief, you're losing your legendary auditor-esque sharpness.

Ofc it had a bearing, a massive bearing - as per original post.

They bust a gut to deliver and show the way, ever more so because their mates (who were integral to the revolution) were sacked off by Martinball for minor transgressions.

Keep up, mun.

Ah so they bust a gut to get a 4-0 result to annoy the manager because he'd dropped two of their beloved team mates. Well that showed him didn't it. Bet Martin was fuming and Pato/Oba chuckling with glee after beating a top 4 team 4-0.

You're clearly losing your unique powers, Chief.

So it’s quite a shock to you that two players with a history of being trouble makers and playing up at other clubs and being called out for it by their clubs are now doing it with us.
