• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Agreed, if the owners think that the home crowd will stay onside if they serve up more of the same against Stoke and QPR then they are going to be in for a very rude awakening. Public opinion is starting to turn against RM now and the crowd have had nothing to cheer about the first month and half of the season.

It's come down to this. He asked for patience. We can't live for a thousand years so do us a favour and leave it to someone who can make us competitive and take your veggie restaurants with you.

Amd Grimes you are not a top footballer so get stuck in or full off

When I was about 10 we went on holiday to Cyprus for some winter sun. The whole family, excited by the prospect, eagerly packed our bags in preparation for 10 days on the beach and around the pool.

When we got there, landing late at night, it felt somewhat chilly. “Well it’s late at night” we said. “It can be a bit parky overnight even in the summer” we said.

We woke to the first snowfall at sea level in Cyprus for around 40 years. Froze our nuts off we did, well mum didn’t, think she froze her tits off after the dysentery died down.

Anyway my point is that this tale of utter disbelief and disappointment feels very much like following the swans at the moment!

Heard Guidolin had massive health issues and it wasn't so much of a sacking, a mutual parting of ways.

Holding the press conference for his replacement in the hotel where he was living at the time must have done wonders for his health

On his birthday...

Guidolin hasn’t managed anywhere since he left Swansea. And he was a bit rubbish here.

Then don't play this system.

I am surprised people keep talking about our system, on the evidence I have seen this season we don't have one!

The system is to pass the ball slowly, but eschew defending or attacking with any pace or guile.

With the transfer window still annoyingly open we are likely to be weakened in theory as we wont replace Piroe or Obafemi if they leave.

A draw at Stoke will be a good result.

Dropping Darling was a move I was not expecting.

I thought RMs comments were better over the weekend and he looks prepared to shake things up.

I hope we see a more resolute first half at Stoke.

Boro could easily have scored more than they did and we got a penalty to make it a contest.

Cabango sent off now Madley strikes again, another twat that hates us, got a face only a mother could love as well, bellend

To be honest Madley isn't at fault at all for that.
In fact he threw us a bone with that penalty when we were otherwise not looking likely to get into the game at all. The Cabango red was all on Cabango and he should be hung out to dry by the manager for it.

Martin doesn't need any encouragement to lob people under the bus.
Anything to deflect where the blame for a dysfunctional system lies.

And with £25m in his pocket apparently.

We should hire him on a tiny basic, with huge bonuses.

Or get a group together including him to buy the club.

Why would he come back here, serious question

This.
Brenda had players who Sousa had taught to defend.
Sousaball was boring, but everyone knew how to defend.

Martin, for a defensive player in his career, should be able to coach defending, has ensured we have no-one who can defend.
He has ensured we're not that much of a threat going forward.

Whereas the Tapas waiter's plan A, was to score more than the opposition could.

Brenda free flowing football wouldn't have a chance
There are no foundations for him to work with

Plus if Rodgers was out of work much bigger clubs with much higher budgets than us would be looking at him.

Some of us need to realise where we are right now. It’s almost like Cardiff fans expecting Bale and Ramsey to play for them.
