One of the head honcho’s of the Met Police Federation has put something out on social media saying that 26 police officers were assaulted or spat at during last nights demo. With the footage appearing on the news regarding protestors wearing balaclavas it looks like some f the people who went to the vigil may have been looking for trouble.

This poor young lady is dead, her family going through all sorts and some people are looking to make capital and further their agendas on the back of it.
My deepest condolences to Sarah Everard’s family and may she Rest In Peace.

There seems to be a massive problem in the UK where everybody,that’s everybody including the police and general public seem to think they can do whatever the f*ck they want.
If you watched and listened to the news yesterday every channel on tv and radio was saying that there’d been meetings between the police and organisers of the vigil and the police had said that because of COVID regulations the vigil should not happen.
I find the fact that it then happened interesting.
Why did it happen when the police said it shouldn’t happen?

The original organised event was cancelled. The spontaneous vigils that happened anyway were incredibly badly policed. They should have let an organised event go ahead with proper controls, distancing et al. Then there wouldn’t have been an issue.

Of Course they should. This horrible event has Pritti Patel’s fingerprints all over it but Cressida Dick will be the one going under the bus. So long as Bozo and his bunch of thieves are in charge you can kiss goodbye to any Liberty and freedom you ever had, COVID or no COVID.... and to think that if it hadn’t been for an inherent dislike of brown people and foreigners in this country he would be nowhere near the job.
