• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The green eyed monsters are out in force.
It will make no difference to us so wether the big clubs, some Swans fans support (2nd club don’t you know), are in the Super Duper League or Pacific Rimjob Series Football League I don't give a toss.

I don't give a toss either. I hope they play some of the matches in the USA, Saudi Arabia, China, that'll really piss the football Karens off.

Yeah, it's all about jealousy from those who have 2nd teams, nothing to do with the catastrophic affect this could have on the whole of football in this country or anything...

You genuinely don’t understand why this affects us?

Wow.

I despair, I really do.

The whole structure gets destroyed. Don’t you see that?

If you think this won't effect us if it happens then you're in for a big surprise. I'd imagine the next TV deal for the Premier League (and essentially every other league) would be next to nothing.

So we have top managers saying we play too may games in the Prem, need a winter break, too much traveling for some games , yet 6 top clubs sign up to play how many extra mid week games during the season, along with international breaks?

It doesnt add up, and somethings gotta give if it goes ahead and these top 6 stay in the Prem, chances are numbers will be cut.

Plus what exactly would anyone be playing for? Top 4 is meaningless. Whole competition becomes essentially glorified friendlies.

Any players signing up shouldn’t be allowed to play for their country. Clubs signing up should be excluded from return to domestic competition for 3 years. Just two ideas. Anyone got any more?

Kick the teams out of the Pyramid. Start again. Its going to go Super Nova one way or another.

Uefa would still run their own competition presumably. Could be much more interesting than a boring CL semi-final involving two clubs owned by Arabs with dodgy human rights records.

I ended up hating the PL. £1m a point. Just wasn't fun. Lets hope this opportunity is grasped.
