• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He looks gash, but so would Foden, Saka and Haaland with the shite tactics we employ. Wait until he’s marked up by one or two and play it to his feet where he’s standing. We don’t have many good players but our tactics, our selections and our total lack of any urgency, ever, are just brain dead. Thats down to Williams.
He's a shadow of the player we signed in January.

Not even a one trick pony.

His only attribute is speed, but the first thing he does he when he receives it is stop 🤣

For me Ronald is yet another example of how careful you have to be with first impressions.

Paterson was the same, Ntcham was the same, Celina was the same, Barrie McKay was the same, the list goes on.

They come in, they dazzle for the first half a dozen games, everyone goes nuts, some of them even get a chant, then over a longer period they show their true colours.

Latest in a long line.

Ronald was shocking first half.
Continually Key receives the ball in space and gets going, Ronald instead of running in behind the full back to look for ball over the top or get the full back turned, Ronald constantly comes towards the ball and makes the full backs job much easier.

He was better 2nd half.

I think at this point I would look at Key playing right wing especially if we get Christie in.

I disagree, he was shocking both halves.

Slightly less shocking 2nd, admittedly.

Absolutely shite, the lad has no potential awareness whatsoever.

The only thing Brazilian about him is hid girlfriend's fanny.......

He started pretty well, scoring and creating chances.. but Williams has obviously told him to be more defensive minded this season, he's hesitant to have a pop at the fullback, where he used to be free flowing

Ronald should be hugging the touchline giving the full back a choice.

He may have had an assist today, but he was absolute dogsh*t for most of the game. I know they're operating at a different financial level to us, but the difference in quality between MPH and Ronald and Leeds' wide players today was staggering. We have to close that gap in quality at some point.

When is Govea going to get some minutes? And Ginnelly ain’t a long way from being in full training.

Honestly mate, he's a waste of a shirt.
What’s the alternative though. Abdulai? We don’t have any top players at this level across any of the front four positions. We may as well support the ones we do have, warts and all.
