• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Bookies odds always very easily influenced in this kind of market, largely because most of them won't have inside knowledge so they go with a flurry of bets - often a very small flurry.

Still Morris for you Phil?

Up until the reports this evening of the approach for Martin then yes it was all the way.

I still think that is where it will end up but - one way or the other - it needs to happen soon!

Fingers crossed for Martin. Morris scream Cooper v2 no proven style of play but we only seem interested for the loans he may be able to get which is extremely shortsighted by the club

I'd like to think the club are working on two options so they don't have to start again if option 1 goes wrong.

Considering Martin is in a job and would cost money I would guess he's first choice?

If Morris was first choice surely that would be further down line with him being without a club than it seems? Could hint to Martin now being our priority. Whoever comes in it needs doing quick 11 days till the start of the season with a small squad and no manager!

MK Dons just announced a new signing

Manager Russell Martin said: “His availability was brought to our attention by Zak Jules, who was a teammate of his, but he was a player we were aware of.

“He came in to train with us and has really impressed. First and foremost, the way he conducts himself, on and off the pitch, is brilliant – he is real example to others. It’s also his attention to detail, his intensity and the way he has improved during the time he’s been with us.

“He is a resilient young man who, despite his young age, has had to deal with plenty already in his career. We are excited to have him on board and are looking forward to seeing how much further he can develop and improve.”

Dont think can read too much into that, gotta be business as usual until theres something more concrete

Odds have shifted slightly out with Morris and Terry a bit closer again.

Bookies obviously have nothing definitive yet

Odds are based on betting, not information
