• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

This is my belief. There doesn't seem to be any consistent drilling as the team are mostly all over the place.

This can only be down to the manager. The team, I believe, are capable of much, much better.
It all just feels very off the cuff

Sorry, but what is the formation or intent here? Throw all the attacking players on and hope for the best?

I think that bit of ‘wing play’ has just seen off my optimism

Galbraith the only centre midfielder on the pitch?

God knows what shape we're playing now.
Just chuck all the forwards on a hope something happens.

When you are relying on Ronald & Eom coming on to change things then there is no hope whatsoever.

And, your protestation is admirable but you're talking tosh
No, I don't think I'm talking tosh at all - Key, Tymon, Cabango, Eom, Cullen, Ronald, some of them have been here as far back as Martin (two even far back as Cooper) and they've always been massively inconsistent over a 46-game season. You'll get 6-8 good games a season out of them if you're lucky.

There is far more evidence that a change of manager fails to get more consistent performances out of them, than there isn't.

And that's without bringing the summer signings into it
