• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I said a few weeks ago that Burgess was a better defender than Darling but we do definitely miss Harry's ability to carry the ball out from the back and get involved in attacks. That's definitely impacting our ability to build attacks from the back.
Darling was much more streetwise and aggressive. Carried Ben like a baby. We miss him.

He’s certainly looks a downgrade on O’Brien and Grimes at the moment. He’s still finding his feet and was rated highly enough for Forest to have a look. Plus he’s had a crap start with his father passing. So I’m with you hoping he can step up in time.

I don’t think people appreciate how much of a loss Grimes was. And even if they do, they certainly won’t admit it after constantly slagging him off for his time here! Signing O’Brien permanently would have been good as well, but I think Galbraith is more than adequate replacement and has a higher ceiling. Having both would have been lovely, but didn’t O’Brien go for something like £7M? That’s a lot of money for us.
Rose tinted Matty Grimes specs eh? He did bugger all as a mf or captain. His lack of effort was shockingly consistent . If he’s playing well now that’s down to him deciding to earn his money which he definitely didn’t do here, giving the middle finger to supporters like you who are too dumb to understand this.

The form says it all, let's hope Matos has had a good week in this weather, I hope our foreigners don't play like minges because it's raining, like Pablo Hernandez did, he never played well in the rain
Set Routledge up for the opener in the Gary monk Cardiff game. It was teeming down

I tend to agree with you on this. The initial decision by home office was a decline so we’re at the appeal stage. What new information can they possibly provide that they didn’t provide in the first submission.
Additionally his assistants are not being paid at the moment and will have family and other financial commitments. The longer this go’s on the greater the risk of some or all of them taking alternative jobs in Portugal or the EU.
The club would have known the Portuguese league 2 is not an accelerated route for a work permit so why the hell did we take the risk.
This is a professional football club behaving like an amateur club - it is beyond belief.
It makes me wonder how the fuck they managed to get modric and snoop to invest in this shower of shit, honestly. Heads need to roll now.

I'm full of cold. Had terrible night and bad week in work. So the optimistic that I am and trying to find positives in the week has dwindled. So it's a 3 - 1 lose today, Ex Swans scores and we all rant later why we let him go and is better than Ronald. 🤣🤣🤣. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Our 10 year old grandson who is a football and Swans fanatic, following in the family tradition, is attending again today, please lads DO NOT destroy his love for the game and club. turn this pathetic form around and kick on.

I hope you are feeling better now. Let’s hope we can turn a corner today and brighten our day.

I’m feeling positive about today. Oxford United will be well organised and a difficult opponent, but they can be beaten.

They paid them, presumably? One way or another. I doubt they are out of pocket with their ‘investment’.

He’s not playing any differently now than he did with us.

I think Oxford are a good bet today, our confidence is rock bottom.
