It’s been depressing all season. We were just having the luck of hell.

We have a disjointed, slow, unbalanced squad and a manager that isn’t good enough to get more out of them than their basic level. He did for a bit, when we stumbled on a formula that meant we shipped very few goals and could nick the odd one, but since our luck ran out we are what we are.

We have no creativity in the squad at all. None.

Why is there no creativity in this squad? Why don't we have Peterson or Celina? Why couldn't we get a goal out of Gallagher last year despite his performances for Charlton and WBA?

Maybe Arriola was a creative player? Perhaps that's why he wasn't picked

Peterson and Celina could be exchanged for something called money.

the american owners dont. The chairman does. Those that appoitned cooper are responsible for this s**t

You seem to have no idea how it works.

Of course the owners appointed him.

Give over you tit, the board not the owners do it. It’s well publicised who appointed Cooper, perhaps you read up on it

He won’t walk when there’s a payoff involved, I think he fancies the England U21s job, and Chris Wilder tipping him to be Sheffield’s manager has probably turned his head.

Lisa I wasn't looking for a patronising response but clearly that's what I got. Why did they not get utilised? We have no creativity in the squad out of choice, not necessity. Hourihane was wanted by many clubs, yet why does he look like a busted flush for us despite his form for Villa in past seasons at the age of just 30?

Wasn’t it Britton, Birch and Curtis who led the interview panel and then suggested Cooper was the best fit?

Well it appears I missed another shit show, how bad was it guys🙁

Don't read too much into this thread, it was an afternoon of free flowing football, intense goal mouth action a MOTM performance from their keeper that should see him at the WC In 2022 if he keeps up that form and quite how they scored with pretty much their only touch of the ball is beyond me.

Oh wait, hang on, let me rethink that. Think of how bad you think it could get and then make it a little worse than that and you won't be fair off

Mr Birch once told me that no matter how bad things should get we should never sack Steve Cooper.

Why does that remind me of The Exorcist??

Who do you think is on the board? The owners have the majority representation on the board. Perhaps stop believing all of the PR that comes out from time to time where ‘insert name of Swans legend to appease fans’ makes decisions / gets appointed as advisor / deputy chair / lifetime president etc etc.

Lots of people are involved in recommendations / interviews etc etc but the board make appointments and the board are largely the owners and their representatives.
