• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I don’t feel even 25% of what I felt after Forest, but thank f**k for that. Total cripple fight but you know what, I think stifling Hounslow Junction and one or two bits of quality will do it.

Oh no, not the fist pump. f**k off is it. You anti football red your way to Wembley you daft fucker. Now win it and then piss off.
Well done Monmouth & you Swans.

Now go smash Brentford in the final :D

I wish we would try and play like Leeds. Fantastic effort this year. Brilliant.

Thanks mate, really happy how we have evolved in the PL. I'm one of the fortunate 8000 fans at ER v West Brom tomorrow.

Praying you beat Brentford, then sign a few quality players & establish yourselves in the PL once again.

Yeah, I don't either. Still happy mind, but that Forest match was probably the best match I've ever been too. Everything came together; the climb through the leagues, the core of players who'd been with us through the rise, the quality of the football we playee. There was an inevitability about that in hindsight, but of course none of new that onor expected it at the time. It's was uniquely special, probably only matched by Leicester's fairytale over the last few years.

It's the future, with Cooper, that bothers me. Sorry to be a party pooper but that victory left me feeling empty. I want us to win on Sat, obviously, but if so we'd be stuck with this "style" , and likely embarrassed imho. Lose, and Cooper would only leave for a decent offer, which may not transpire. Rock and a hard place for me.

NH, it’s too late to change tack now, and hopefully he’s gone win or lose. He’ll certainly be gone before Christmas if he tries this shite in the PL.

Why not take a minute or two to rate the players performances from this evening’s second leg against Barnsley – who was your man of the match?

Swansea City are going to the Championship play off final after a 1-1 draw at the Liberty was enough to see off Barnsley 2-1 on aggregate thanks to a special Matt Grimes goal and another strong defensive performance. It would be fair to say that neither of the two legs of this tie matched any […]

“There were 3,000 there but during the game it felt like 35,000″ – the words of Steve Cooper as he reflected on the ninety minutes that preceded his comment, a ninety minutes that was enough to book his side a place at Wembley and the chance to extract revenge on Brentford. The Swans and the […]

There is little doubt that Barnsley manager Valérien Ismaël is a class act and he showed that after the play off semi final when he immediately offered his congratulations to Swansea and admitted that they were clinical over the two games. Ismaël had seen his side put up a good fight over 180 minutes...
