• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Great result again. Going to have a curry delivery to celebrate. Pity about Brentford getting 7, but if we keep winning they cannot catch us. Well done lads.

Good win away from home, lets go for it against Norwich and not set up negative like Wednesday night.

Cracking away performance. Never looked like we had to play at top gear. Even when they scored, we just turned it on and restored the 2 goal advantage with relative ease. Should mean plenty in the legs for Norwich, when I'm hoping to see just how good we can be.

I had the Rotherham commentators on the best stream I found (thanks epaul) and bless them, they were getting very excited every time their team put the ball in our box, despite the majority of the crosses posing no danger whatsoever.

I wonder who will be first game on Quest tonight? Who are the current media darlings of the championship and how did they get on? We'll probably be last on just to show the goals and nothing more, no chat.

Ayew needs to come off.

been saying this for 12 games

But even when he's not in great form he produces football like he did for our 3rd. I can see why Cooper wants him on the pitch as much as possible.

Sorry to piss on your chips Bryn, or your curry, Brentford have a game in hand so they can catch us. :(

Didn't mean to thank you Bryn

Meant to quote you & say they have a game in hand & are only 2 pts behind, so they surely can overtake us.

They play their game in hand on Wed against Brizzle City

They can Bryn

But they won't.

Silly pointless club with their golden championship quality generation. Still remember beating them in the cup in the early seventies. Giving it large at the Vetch they were after a 1-1 draw. Then (in those days had to rely on terrible radio)...replay...holding the radio to my 12 year old ears...hearing. ..Brentford 2....yowllllll...no signal. Ah, shit never mind, we never get a good draw anyway. Better losing there than Margate. Come back later on the quarter to the hour...Brentford 2, Swansea 3. Have it.

I think we drew Bristol Rovers next round and lost. Not sure, but that night was sweet and I still remember it 50 years later, and I never saw a minute of it. Football eh?

Had to look it up. Alan Williams, Gwyther and Janner scored.. We got to the 4th round and lost to Pompey. I don't remember that at all.

I liked them. They had no real hopes and were quite complimentary. They love the championship and 'all the great teams we get to play'. They have Cardiff Tuesday week for a spicy relegation battle. They reckoned they were very encouraged by their performance against a very good team today and are looking forward to Cardiff 🤣🤣🤣
