Swansea City v Norwich City
The Liberty Stadium, Swansea
Friday February 05 2021, 8.15pm Kick Off
View attachment Championship Logo.png
As it stands at the point this thread was created it is 2nd v 1st at the Liberty Stadium on Friday as the Swans welcome Norwich to South West Wales for a clash that could see the two teams end the night just one point apart.
However, Norwich are in action against Millwall in midweek and Brentford against Bristol City so things could change quite a bit before kick off but it takes nothing away from the importance of this match for both sides as they look to continue their push for a place in next season's Premier League.
As you would expect both sides are in great form ahead of the game - the Swans are unbeaten in 9 (7 wins and 2 draws) whilst Norwich are 11 unbeaten in the league (9 wins and 2 draws) which only increases the anticipation for what is our biggest game of the season to date.
It took just one late goal to separate the sides when they met at Carrow Road earlier in the season but it was a game that could have gone either way and the Swans will definitely be looking to ensure that they do not let one of their key rivals complete a league double over them.
The game has - as you would expect - been selected for live TV coverage on Sky Sports and, as ever, on Planet Swans we have for you some of the most comprehensive pre-match coverage in our matchday thread that will bring you all we need to know over the next few days as well as all the chat during the match together with every post match follow up you would wish to read (and maybe even more!)
