Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Plymouth Argyle | The EFL Championship

I didn't know that.

I'm sure those experiences at Manchester United will prove invaluable in our battle against relegation to league 1 16ish years later.
Lots of fans here don't know lots of things about our club.

His pedigree is shining through, now he's been unleashed form the past two years of mismanagement. And his experiences of battling like a demon to prove his worth in the lower leagues will be a beacon for him and and our young players.

Onwards, Chief.

We were indeed. A bit more than okay for me. Shedding the old bad ways and building the new is never easy yet Luke seems determined, fair play.

Forward being the first option will be music to the ears of the many, not the few. Even the likes of Fults will potentially blossom, having been brought up as an AM in his early career. Grimesy too (despite being one of the very best DCMs in this league).

Pato was slightly below par - but has consistently been our best performer this term. With his Yernited heritage, pedigree and class he is playing a massive senior role in reinvigorating and leading our efforts to play more on the front foot.

Another player unleashed from previous bonkers, egotistical management shackles. Just like Whittaker.

Let's hope Luke continues to unleash the likes of Pato.

Unlike some of our peripheral, bonkers fans who are unable to 'see', and choose to slag off Pato, one of our real gems.
“One of the best CDM’s in this league”.
Intriguingly one who no other team wants.

Apart from all of our recent managers.

Martinball woulda failed in week 3 without Grimes.

Duffball, the same. The acid test, for sure.

Grimes is clearly the last remaining corporate glue to secure our 'Swansea Way' of seeking to dominate possession with a mercurial talent at the helm.

Grimes prefers to operate in AM, but due to his captaincy, leadership role and uber intelligence is forced to play deeper to 'carry us' and then propel us as and when it's appropriate.

Those that fail to see that, fail to grasp the game.

Potter didn’t take Grimes with him to Brighton.
Copper didn’t fancy him at Forest, a club with a decent budget and lower in the league than us.
Martin decided to ignore Grimes and bring in a much better player in on loan.
Nobody wants Grimes. Including our last three managers. Evidently.
