Summer Transfer Window

To be fair, I see Galbraith as the player who has driven and a good technical ability....I feel he will be wasted if we see him as a DM midfield.
The style that Sheehan wants to play, we need an enforcer who can just break play up and give the dimple pass to allow players like Widell and Galbraith to then create and bring other players into the game.
Just teasing but

Ok so Galbraith, Widell, a new DM and then Franco on the bench?

Franco is first name on the sheet of the midfield 3.
The rest can fight it out, it's good to have the competition.

I think that Galbraith and Widell will bring versatility to the team. I can see them not being primarily central midfielders over the course of the season.

We are playing a higher line and longer range passes. Widdel doesn't need to drop deep but can drive us forward. The Cheltenham game we pissed about again at the back, mainly Fulton with these short square passes going nowhere. Looks like Sheehan wants high tempo, get the ball forward quicker to get the wide players in the game with Widdel linking the play. Our passing was very wayward and we lost possession regularly especially longer range.

We are a midfielder light though.

Fishing! FFS find another club to support.
I mean he has been with us for nearly 10 years. It truly might be his year 🤣🤣 if not now then maybe in another 10 years 😂. Sarcasm on overload. I don't want to start a debate but I get a feeling this user, who thinks it's his year is on one 😂.

The ones calling the transfer window so far "superb", ignoring the obvious gaps in the squad, will no doubt be the same ones who will be up in arms if we aren't in the play off positions by October.

As things stand, we still have a lot of work to do if we want to get to where we want to be. No amount of wishful/positive thinking is going to change that.

I think there is a bit of back patting and nodding going on with approval somewhere regards this window but the reality is worl is still needed.
How we have got this far with such small depth defensively is a big concern for me.....taking a gamble on the fact that Pedersen,Tjoe a On and Christie hardly played and not been replaced is a risk.
