Summer Transfer Window

Didn't Sheehan say he was injured with a slight knock?

I think the club could have done a deal for him, but I think they didn’t want to rock the boat with players knowing people coming in on huge wages.
If O'brien really wanted to come back here, he would have made a deal possible by lowering his wage demands. He went where the money was. Wish him all the best, Quite rightfully, we should now be concentrating on other targets.

I was wondering what that post was about, too. Hope the OP knows what it means? 😂
I could be wrong but Neath described this window as superb, so presumably Andrew’s post was at least partly aimed at him. And Andrew is well known for not attending home games in the past as a protest against our former owners.

VItal ruling out that we're in for a Swedish striker. Vague rumours about us being in for a Newcastle winger on loan, but only on the Vital boards. It's all very, very quiet.

Not exactly transfer news but Morgan Bates has signed a new two year contract with the option to extend for another 12 months.

22 goals for the u18s and u21s last season including two hat tricks.
Wouldn't be surprised at all if he was sent out on loan this season as he seems to be outgrowing the age grade sides.

Josh Sargent's deal to the Bundesliga has fallen through. It also seems like his relationship with Norwich has deteriorated beyond the point of no return.

While he wants to move to the Prem, he will obviously want to play regularly in order to try to make the US squad ahead of the World Cup next summer. Surely we couldn't pull off a deal for him, right?

Absolutely no we can't.

Seems more like a Leeds/Burnley/W Ham pick up.

I must admit my earlier optimism is starting to wane, we made great moves early on to get some players in but we still have gaping gaps that appears to be no movement on.
Nothing too worry about too much at the moment.
It's been a far more pro active window for us but areas have not been sorted as hoped.
We need to see a follow up of some quality in defence, holding midfielder and a striker......obviously with a moving out of 1 or 2.

It's the first real wobble(it's not even that yet) the club are having regards recruitment and they don't want to lose the feel good that was created early doors.
