Not sure it was a penalty but agree with earlier post.. Williams is shit and needs to be sent back to Liverpool. Hope we improve for QPR away for our big weekend in London.

To play this way we need everyone to be switched on. One of our defenders went walkabout once and we're losing.

Other than that we've created the better chances and haven't played badly.

Am I blinded by my rose tints or was there clear contact there?

Course there was. He'd just nicked the ball past the keeper and was taken out. The 'argument' is whether he was going down before the contact. Even in slo mo that's not obvious, so ref has to give it.

Watching the pen replays, that was an appalling first touch by Patto tbf

Awful wasn't it. all he had to do was shift it onto his left and slot it past the keeper (much like their guy did for their goal)

Basically do anything except what he did!

Think Paterson deliberately manufactured the contact with the keeper who was already on the floor because he knew his touch had taken the ball away from him.

Correct call from ref but unfortunate In a sense that he'd be able to judge so decisively on the incident from 20yrds back and we never get given these close, contentious decisions in the box this season.

Think it's safe to forget any hope of playoffs with this defence.

It’s mid table this year imo. No point in getting excited about missing out on play offs. Anything can happen of course. We might spawn our way in like Fraudboy’s first season.

He goes down looking for it, theres contact, we have seen them given , but then again they aint Swansea!

I'm not seeing it. Pato slowed down, but there's no rule that stating you have to maintain a constant pace. Keeper caught him, clear and obvious pen for me. Cameron Toshack thinks he conned the ref though, so you're not alone.
