Sitting back on 2 (makes a change from 1 but tbh Wickham are defending a 2 goal deficit)
Some wonderful interchange passing in the first 1/4 but getting sloppy (wind id a big influence apparently)

We lack that natural finisher but even if we found one we’d need to drop one of the forward 5, assuming we are sticking with the 5 defenders, but would allow us to flex & drop one of Grimes or Smith to become more attacking & rotate/rest Ayew.

Interesting 2nd half ahead, if we keep dropping deeper & they get 1 it will be squeaky bum time - a third from us probably kills the game for them.

Agree on the hair cut note, He’s a decent gaffer but you can’t take him seriously with that hair.

A win is a win but the second half was painful to watch.

Wycombe were dire and offered nothing. We will be hard pushed to play a worse team this season.

Although as fans we want the team to be non-stop for 90 minutes and score a shed load, you can't be disappointed with today's performance.
I can't remember being that comfortable in a league game for at least a decade and we went into 2nd gear after 30 minutes!

Pretty comfortable but it does demonstrate perfectly that we don't have that killer mentality.
