Loved Loakes Park, went a few times as a kid, and went to the last game there George Best played.
I was born at Wycombe general which overlooked the old ground.

I was born in the Shrubbery off Amersham Hill, lived in Hughenden Road till I was 13. Remember the hospital patients used to stand behind the goal in PJs and dressing gowns.

My mrs wants me take her shopping at Trostre Park tomorrow lunch time 😢, I don’t know that area very well, does anyone know any pubs will be showing tomorrow’s game in that area? I know I’m a wimp, thanks in advance🤞

Stradey Arms is a 2 mile drive from Trostre Park

When I saw Wycombe I actually thought that it was a cup game. Great achievement by the Wanderers. Now let's beat them.

Was born in High Wycombe, first game I ever went to was at the old pitch at Loakes Park when I was about 4 years old, that was in the old Ishmiam League, first trip to Wembley was 1957 the old Amateur Cup Final when they got beat by Bishops Auckland 3-1. Now though a firm Swansea ST holder so sorry Wanderers COYS. 1-4 Swans tomorrow.

I used to go out with a gal from Wycombe in the 70s and went to a game at Loakes Park with her brother. Can't have been a memorable game as I can't remember who it was against.

Great decision by the ref and a fantastic ball by the Southport Carlos.
Let's keep going now!

Yes! Superb Bidwell cross. Hopefully a shedfull. Today. Liking Gibbs-white already.

Though he should have had a long pop there with the keeper off the line
