I must admit, it’s a little bit disconcerting that Idahs transfer has been put on hold.

Could we end up with no striker incoming?

Of course we could. Is it likely? No. But not impossible.

I'm not too sure it has been put on hold. I can't really see them agreeing to the deal yesterday night, and then putting it on hold this morning.

I think it's a case of Rodgers pushing the board to ensure they get a striker in themselves, and the journalist that is the source of this £7 million figure reporting purely based on Rodgers comments.

I hope so, off the top of my head, I really can’t think of a situation where this has happened? Surely it would never reach the terms agreed and player having a medical, for then,the manager to step in, and say he’s not going until a replacement is in?

True, a few year back now. But I think it was the board that pulled the plug on that.

Hopefully we will get him over the line, for Celtic to pay 9 million for him, they must have saw something in him.

Personally I’m all for it, great believer in one not shoe size fits all, and I have watched a few videos on him, and he’s got quick good feet.

He's more than decent for us at the right price. Hasn't had a proper run of games with Kyogo being first pick, after Kyogo left Brendan moved Maeda inside and he scored for fun. He'll take a few games to get up to speed but when he fires, given the right service, the goals will come. If anyone has any doubts about his quality, take a look at the two goals AI scored against Aston Villa last season at Villa Park in the Champions league.
