As others have said if names appear in the press they wont be coming here, lets wait and see, we do have untill 7 pm next monday to bring in the people we would like and who we can afford within the rules.
like most on here would like to have a good striker at least to come in today ready for saturday , but what will be will be, the guys sorting transfers out in my opinion not doing a bad job to date so lets see in the coming days what pans out

Actually, having said that, I expected his Norwich record to be not that shit. He seems a decent player, but his goals per game at Norwich (even considering youth/sub appearances) are eye-wateringly poor

Perhaps Idah is a decent option given where we are. 6ft 3..

If he was available on a decent fee and would take a wage cut (I would imagine his wages are HUGE there compared to what we normally offer here)........... then why not

I mean Celtic payed 9M for him he’s going to be costing us at least 4-5M I’d imagine.

Celtic are currently dying to get a striker in as well as a backup, think Vardy has been mentioned in that role. Can't see them letting him go before getting at least one through the door in that case.

What I will say about Idah is I won’t write him off yet, O Dea will know how to get something out of him having worked together at Celtic, he’s still young he’s got experience of this league and Celtic payed 9M for him that’s not something that should be sniffed at, let’s see what happens now.

Scored 20 goals last year in 27 full 90 min games - subbed off/on for rest. Not sure why people would be fuming at this signing
