• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Anyone know why the deadline was moved to 7pm tonight instead fo the usual midnight?
Really up against it to get these deals over the line now.

Sky Sports apparently reported that Idah has passed his medical and we are just waiting for Celtic to finish some paperwork, Sam-Smith seems to be a done deal so it’s just the winger and CB that seems up in the air at the moment. And when my alarm clock went off this morning I had no idea we wanted or needed either. So my bottle of water is half full right now.
Sam Smith?.......................................we're going to sell a load of frocks and fake beards in the shop

I'd rather no more players instead of panic-buys.

This has been a great window for the club. I won't be massively disappointed if there's no more business completed today.I'd like it, obviously, but I think we'll manage okay.

We need a striker.

I will be hugely disappointed if we don’t sign one today given it’s been the most pressing need all summer apart from replacing Darling and O’Brien.

We also don’t have cover at left back until the loanee from Chelsea is announced.

Said on the other forum, dealing with Celtic must be what it’s been like dealing with us for the past decade. Absolute basket case at the moment it seems.

Didn't say we didn't. It wouldn't be the end of the world though as they'll manage.

Theteam we have today is in a much better place than it was under LW. The business the Swans have completed already this window is great - the best in a long, long time!

We're going to see what VIP is capable of up-front and I think he'll surprise - but only if we give him fair game time. Now, it's not to say I don't want to see a new striker - or Idah - but if Celtic screw the deal then it won't be a huge blow moving forward.

If I had to guess, I’d say any deals will be announced after 7. Don’t know why, just think that’s how we’ll do it.
