• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Very very happy, boys put a proper shift in tonight, bit nervy first 10 minutes but overall some great performances. Benda looks solid.
Prioe superb. Grimes looking good. Ah fook it they all did a job tonight. 👏

A few shaky moments but the team where outstanding tonight, worked their balls off abs its coming together, massive result to boost the confidence. Piroe is quality. Very happy for the manager tonight.

I'm watching this in a Sports Bar in London with a lot of neutrals. They don't have any thoughts about either team, but they enjoyed the match

Piroe was a handful all night too… give him chances and he’ll score shedloads.

He looked lively and a player when he came on in the friendly against S’ton. Nothing’s changed my mind yet. Looks like he’ll be just fine and he’s definitely ahead of Lowe for me (Lowe’s looked really poor so far this season).

He looked poor for a chunk of last season.

What game you watching, the one I'm watching he's having a good game, perhaps your looking at an old Leeds game?

MOTM too. Which is no surprise as he ran our midfield again. Grimes is the litmus test for whether people really watch a game. Some don’t realise how much work he puts in.
Time to quit the negative narrative on Grimes folks? Very, very good player. Please stay MG.

We attempted a few through balls for Piroe tonight, especially Grimes. Think our style of play was perfect for away games tonight. Defence terrific tonight.

Laird an absolute star, Fulton strong as an ox. Doesn't it feel good?

Sure does always good to beat the wurzels

A great win, really entertaining match. Some great performances.

Do some fans still think we would be better without Grimes ? Crazy.

Excellent win lads, onwards and upwards. Ethan Laird looks a very good signing.

Surprised to hear Russell just say that's the worst we have played this season and he is disappointed.

I appreciate he wants more possession but Ì though we were alot more direct and an enjoyable watch. Less possession for possession sake tonight.

I realised tonight just how much of last season I spent scrolling through crap on the internet during games. Tonight I was glued and it was the most 'into' a game of football I've been for years

Keeping them on their toes?

The "possession for possessions sake" is very reminiscent of early Rodgers, which even Rodgers isn't on board with any more. Would hope RM is pragmatic enough to accept that sometimes it's OK to take a few extra risks.
