Congrieve is gash mind. I know he is local lad but nowhere near championship standard in any position

And this is the problem. As much as people are jumping on RM’s back, he hasn’t got a lot to work with.

I thought we’d struggle this year but reckoned it’d be nearer Christmas before people turned. It’s starting to feel like the end already.

Ideal scenario for me is we get new owners asap, a decent CEO/DOF and then go from there, building for next season. Probably completely unrealistic, but that’s what we need.

Our best eleven is better than a lot of teams in this division.
Talking about a left-footed centre midfielder playing right wing just highlights the fact that Martin has bombed out any player who can naturally play in that position.

We've wasted money on players in positions we have depth in and have backed ourselves into a corner by not addressing the wide areas.
Even now we are only linked with another centre midfielder despite huge holes elsewhere. Martin has built this team, make no mistake about that.

My wife timed our meal for ½ time at the end of it she said you best get back and watch the second half. After 40+ years is that reason enough to ditch her?

YOu will certainly have a case for mental cruelty

Make an excuse, go to the loo and read the back of a shampoo bottle. Far more entertaining.

Said all summer our public statement of needing to sell Piroe will haunt us

Yep.

It was a disaster of a strategy.

We didn’t even play him til the end in the last match in case he was injured. We had that genius Silverstein stating we were operating a ‘player trading model’, we’ve repeated and repeated it all summer.

It’s an absolute joke. And to be honest, as well as Martin, we need to get rid of Winter as well. We need someone running the club who will tell the owners and those who pretend they are owners, to shut up as they know nothing about it.

I’m getting angry now.

It was so obvious that Martin was all emperors new clothes from very early on. It was also obvious that he is attempting to play in a way that gets noticed by Sky Sports (as with all lower league, it’s only the stats that matters, as none of them actually ever watch us play). As does Grimes btw.

The bloke is an absolutely dreadful manager. At least the position of the team is now at a stage where he can have all the stats in the world, he has shot himself in the foot as no club higher up would touch him with a barge pole.
I seem to remember Huddersfield fans telling us how bad Winter was when we appointed him and it seems that they were absolutely correct. He oversees this but is just another one happy to take a wage from the club without being accountable for the job that he does

The bit that still annoys me and has for some time is he firmly believes this is a return to the Swansea Way when its as far from that as we have probably been for some time.

A statisticians dream but possession without a purpose

Problem is no one with more sense than money will look at us as a club to purchase.

The owners have sold just about every player with potential, the stadium is in an awkward position in terms of expansion, the squad needs proper investment and the manager needs to be replaced.

Unless a billionaire comes in who just wants to spend money or someone with a link to the city like Catherine Zeta Jones then I just don't see it happening.

Let’s do the full misery line. They stupidly bought the stadium rather than have a guaranteed cheap rent and it seems to me like there will only be hugely escalating maintenance costs.

Yeah, it’s not an easy ask. Can we swap with Wrexham? They they seem to be having a great time even in the National League!

I’ve no idea where we get a new owner from, but I can’t see us going anywhere with this lot. But I suspect we’ll change RM as a quick fix - might work I suppose.

I'm torn between going to do some jobs and staying to watch in case we can double our shots on target 'stat'.

Meanwhile Liverpool are tearing Bournemouth a new arsehole 6-0 up at the moment and it could easily have been 10.

You've just reminded me that since the silly temperatures have stopped and we've had a little rain, our grass has started to grow again. I'm torn between mowing it or just watching it grow some more.

Wyndham wants the boys to pass the ball to Ntcham more now.

At least Oli Cooper seems to give a sh*t,
Just looking for something. Anything, really.
