• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

LAst 3 home games vs Looton = 0-1 Fk off Nathan is it?

Yep, that poisoned fckn dwarf can happily do one tmrw. Come do the ayatollah again pal....little cvnt.

I was searching for a suitable simile for us under Martin and it came to me...If our team was to be defined by the pros and cons of a particular player who would it be?
We are ...

Mario Ballotelli.

Watching us has become an unusual experience. I will never forget when we signed Jonjo Shelvey and a Liverpool supporter has posted on a thread about him that signing Shelvey was akin to finding £50 wrapped around a dogshyt. Most every game we play these days leaves me with the same feelings.

I think things will get progressively better, starting today. How much do I believe that, well…I was going to go today but instead I let my Mrs talk me into looking for some plants for the garden instead and now I have to go and sort it all out. So I suppose that says more about my current commitment than £50 wrapped around dogshit ever could. It does show that they were right about televising though. If I didn’t think there was any hope of finding it somewhere on stream, I would be more inclined to make the journey. Instead I can put the £70 saved on petrol food and drink towards garden plants

If Naughton is fit there is absolutely no reason Sorinola should start above him.

Josh Thomas?
A quick search on the Swans site says he is a forward from the youth ranks, anyone know much about him?

Only Naughton from what I can see.

Would arguably be better served if we needed to go defensive to switch to a back 4 and pull in a defensive midfielder.

That said we have four youngsters from the u23s who have stepped up onto the bench today in Cooper, Cullen, Thomas and Congreve. One can only hope that this means that they are knocking on the door to getting into the team rather than a case of needing bodies to fill the spaces.

Mr Paterson still injured or not in favour again?

Injured I believe. Was said before that he would likely miss Tuesday v Millwall and today.

Naughton looked like he picked up a knock on Tuesday so I guess he’s probably rested because of that. Would definitely start him at RWB over Sorinola if he was 100%.
