• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Well what can you say, England 4 down at the close still 51 runs behind.
Hameed somehow managed to survive 31 balls before getting out, it was pitiful to watch...
If Starc and Cummins hit thier straps tomorrow Australia might not have to bat again, big ask, but that's how poor England are.

Get Root early tomorrow, may get this game won before breakfast never mind lunch 😂

And to think Root had the audacity to criticise the bowlers after the last test. The major problem on this tour has been the feeble batting line up with their inability to score much more than 150 in most of their innings.

So if Root and Stokes can survive for say an hour and then a tropical storm wipes out the next two days we have a slim chance of saving the match

Men against boys

Covid outbreak in the camp, call off the tour. Call the series a draw, Australia can keep the urn but it’ll be hollow and empty for them with the series still up for grabs. :D

There’s Covid amongst the support staff apparently so just get one of them to do 15 LFTs overnight and the job’s a good ‘un.

As expected. Snakes in the grass

Have they not complied with their bubble?

I take it back! Match continues no further positives

Need to get it done today!

Damn.

Rain ain’t gonna save us either.

Never mind, we’ve got the nightwatchman who could bat through a good few overs. Oh, hang on a mo…

Your 3=2 optimism waning slightly? Well now…I remember watching Botham, Willis, Dilley and Old (both often cruelly overlooked) in 1981 in increasing disbelief. Get 120 ahead and anything can happen. Needs someone other than Root to pull their bats out of their exhausts though.

Root, Stokes and Big Jos to somehow get us another 200 today to give us something to bowl at. Then Wood rips them apart, we win by 30.

Bring on Sydney.
