• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Should never not win when you are 4-1 up

Naive play, poor defending and you just knew it was coming

Not sure about that really. When we were passing it around from the corner in the 94th I thought we'd ridden it out. Oba should certainly have made it it 5 too. The criminal bit was giving them any sniff whatsoever. Still at least it's given a few wankers a chance to crawl back out from the stones they've been hiding under.

I felt Martin surrendered the initiative with his subs second half. When's he going to learn the best form of defence is attack? Piroe was arguing with him about coming off.
Mind you, Oba and Ncham should have put their chances away.

My thoughts exactly.
When you are sitting on a lead in the dying embers of a game, just sit on it and kill the momentum.
So disappointing

To go back to Monnies post - that was it for me - we were naive in stoppage time and that allowed Reading to get back on the ball

What I dont really understand is that Martin talked about this weekend and needing to use his squad but didnt

7 unbeaten is good but today was two points thrown away

The last goal was totally shambolic.
With one minute to go they have a throw in 40 yards from our goal. We allow them to receive the ball uncontested in an area where they can send in a cross.
An uncontested header reaches a defender who steers it in without too much of a challenge.
Three areas where our pressure would have disrupted the move, starting with the throw in.
Frankie Burrows would have thrown his hat to the floor...
